We are always looking for professional staff that are compassionate to the care and needs of others. We require dependable, honest and hard working team players to join our home care team.  Flexible schedules are available that work around school hours.  

Nurses should have several years of Medical Surgical nursing experience and preferably at least 1 year of home health experience.  When working in the home, you are the eyes and ears of the physician.  Good assessment and listening skills are important.  Experience in medical surgical nursing gives you a good foundation to allow you to make judgement calls when you are assessing you patients. Knowing when to contact the doctor or even dial 911 can make the difference in whether someone lives or not! 

Physical and Occupational Therapist and assistanct are a very important part of the home care team.  Nursing and therapist collaborate daily about the status of their patients.  One may notice changes in the clients mental or physical status of a patient that when reported to other staff may indicate a change of condition.  Contacting the doctor about these findings and perhaps a visit to see him or her may help prevent complications and avoid a hospital stay.

Home Health Aides are always needed for visits during the recovery phase of a patient's illness.  The nurses and therapist depend on the aide to be the extension of their instructions to the patient.  The HHA assists the patient in activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring and ambulation.  The aide is instructed by the therapist and nurses about safe handling, transferring and assisting with certain exercises.  This team effort assist the patient to make good measurable progress towards the patient oriented goals for a successful recovery.

We presently do not have a Speech Language Pathologist but would love to add this service to our staff.
